In 1985, we built the Shizuoka Products Center cosmetics plant to manufacture safe, reliable, high-quality skincare products. The plant is located in a lush natural environment blessed with the premium water that flows from the Southern Japan Alps.

At the Shizuoka Products Center, we're committed to carefully crafting each and every cosmetic according to the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards for manufacturing and quality control, making full use of the technologies and expertise that we've accumulated over decades of providing customers with their favorite and most satisfying beauty products.

In 2002, the plant obtained ISO 9001: 2000 certification.

The Shizuoka Products Center cares about the impact its business activities have on the environment, and was one of the first cosmetics companies to obtain ISO 14001 certification for environmental management. The plant also uses 125,000 kWh of electricity generated from clean energy sources (natural wind power) every year in our cosmetics manufacturing activities, further demonstrating our commitment to turning out products that are friendly to both people and the environment.

Our R&D department is at heart of our cosmetics development operations, and is located within the Shizuoka Products Center. There, we develop new ingredients as well as bulk skincare cosmetics. The R&D department is also studying brightening and anti-aging formulas, and actively works on joint projects with universities.
